Official delegations should consist of a total of up to four members. They include a Minister or equivalent (as Head of Delegation), with the remaining three places being taken by up to two union leaders and one teaching professional. The teaching professional should be a current classroom practitioner, a representative of a teacher preparation programme or a school leader.

Each official delegation may be accompanied by up to two additional observers.

The summit’s programme includes both open sessions (open to media and live streamed) and closed in-person sessions. Both the opening and closing sessions are open to all delegates and the media. The core of the summit will include three thematic sessions which will be open to official delegations and observers only.

Delegations are kindly requested to register online by 15 January 2026.
Please register the official delegation and observers via the online registration form. All participants should note that each participating country should only submit one single registration for the entire delegation. Each delegation should indicate a primary point of contact (POC) during registration. All updates and requests from the organising team will be communicated to the POC.
The Point of Contact (POC) should first complete the form with their personal details. Upon submission, the POC will receive an email containing a link and login credentials to register the rest of the delegation.
Information can be updated in the registration system as needed. By the registration deadline, all members of the official delegation must be registered.

The official hotel of ISTP 2026 is the Radisson Collection Hotel, Tallinn. Rooms have been reserved for the Summit from 8–12 March 2026.
Accommodation for official delegation members (up to four delegates) will be arranged by the ISTP 2026 Secretariat and costs covered by the ISTP 2026 Organiser.
Observes of the delegations are encouraged to book their hotel rooms as soon as possible in the official hotel.

The Ministry of Education and Research will cover accommodation and breakfast for up to three nights for four delegates in the official delegation (Head of Delegation + 3). Additional nights will be at the delegation’s (Head of Delegation + 3) own expense. If delegations require additional nights, please contact the organisers through info@istp2026.ee.
In accordance with the ISTP arrangements, accommodation expenses will be covered, and participation in the discussions will be limited to delegations headed by the Minister and the leader of the union.

The summit will be held in English only. However, if countries wish to bring their own interpreters, they must contact the organisers at info@istp2026.ee.

A two-way airport transfer will be provided for each country’s Head of Delegation and accompanying members who arrive/depart on the same flights.

The official hotel of the ISTP 2026 is in walking distance from the summit venue, but transfers will also be provided between the hotels and the summit venue.

Estonia is a part of the Schengen visa area. Nationals of EU are free to enter Estonia. The required travel document for entry is a national ID card or passport.
